- this. It's called SGM, and we think you'll love it.
It's not that Scotland doesn't have its fair share of magazines for you to browse, it's just that we think they could be a lot better. That's why we're hell bent on giving you guys and gals a magazine that'll keep you entertained and enthralled throughout your years of study.
We want our magazine to cover all aspects of student life in Scotland: the good (nights out), the bad (hours of study) and the very, very ugly (the troll you woke up next to after your night out).
But who's going to tell us about life as a student in Scotland? Well, you are. We know this might horrify the couch potatoes out there, but if you can tear yourself away from Bargain Hunt, then your words of wisdom could be up there in print, and if they are, they'll earn you hard cash. After all, you're the ones living the student life, so who better to talk about it.
Give us the juicy gossip that's going on at your University or College. Shame those in dire need of shaming, and make sure you don't hold back...we want all the gory details. Send us your pictures, letters, articles and reviews - if we print them, we pay you. We'll even be giving away prizes for the best pictures in our "Hall of Shame" section! A great opportunity to ridicule your friends...or enemies.
Visit our chatroom (www.studentgossip.com), and you can share your tales online. Gossip about fellow students, lecturers or simply let everyone know where the best place is to buy a cheap pint, it's up to you. And keep an eye out in future, because we'll be making a few changes to the site that'll allow our members to get full, uncensored access to some of the x-rated articles and pictures that we simply couldn't print in the magazine.
For those of you new to Scotland you'll find this magazine especially helpful, as it'll give you details of what's hot and what's not in your area. There'll also be regular event listings to tell you what gigs and shows are coming up.
So what else can you expect from the SGM? Well, there are more celebrity interviews on the way. There'll be regular reviews of the latest games, films and club nights. Our "Student Bodies" section is a real eye opener and will no doubt become a firm favourite (don't be shy boys, you can send in your snaps too). We'll be receiving regular reports from our intrepid travel reporter - Global Gav - as he heads off around the World in search of...well he's not quite sure. He just fancied buggering off and telling us about his adventure.
We'll also be offering great giveaways and prizes and by the time
our Christmas edition comes around, you'll see just how much we, and
those who advertise with us, are offering you, the
student. Best of all, your copy of SGM will always be FREE.
